Edith Grodin Best Collaboration at the 86th Annual Craftsmens Fair for Contemorary Concha Belt with Diane Louise Paul

Contemporary Concha Belt

Picture
Diane Louise Paul and myself we very luck to have been given the "Edith Grodin Best Collaboration Award" for this belt at the "Art and Craft Exhibition" of the 86th Annual League of New Hampshire Craftsmens Fair.  Diane is a leather worker, who designed the black English Briddle belt, while the two us worked to design the buckle and concha's.  The buckle and concha's are fabricated from Fine and Sterling Silver.  The gray stone was a flea market find by Diane. The find was not turquoise as Diane had hoped for but Socelite and each stone has a 10mm x 10mm stone of Sleeping Beauty Turquoise inset to the Scolelite.  There are 7 conchas and the belt will fit a waist between 32 - 38 inches, if  larger size belt is required please contact me.
